Monitoring

One of the NRW Innovation Alliance's core functions is the forwarding of cooperation enquiries from businesses and other external institutions to participating universities, instituties, and spin-off (transfer) organisations. As a rule, it will take the Innovation Alliance only a couple of days to receive feedback on which institutes, chairs, or organisations would be able to take on the requested services (consultation, research, development) in the framework of a cooperation.

The Innovation Alliance will broker and continue to monitor the contact in the future. Part of its activities are the innovation vouchers which enquiring businesses may request directly from the Innovation Alliance. Through these, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia subsidies a part of the services delivered by the university or spin-off organisation during the collaboration.
